When you hear people talk about improving social mobility, what does it mean to you? Every politician says they want to take action, but it's not always clear what that involves. Does it mean more jobs? Or more grammar schools? Does it mean more investment in youth services? Or a punishing tax on inheritance? I was born in a council house and raised by a single mum.
