SOMETIMES it's startling when people agree with you even more fiercely than you agree with yourself. I wrote, quite lightheartedly, that women broadcasters, even on radio, are expected to flick girlish blonde locks, smile with perfect teeth and pose flirtatiously. Meanwhile, men can be stout, bald and wrinkled like old Galapagos tortoises and still be valued for their brains and eloquence.
