State pension age: ‘Is age 70 the new age 65?’ asks ONS as people work and live longer



STATE PENSION age is currently rising from 65 to 66 ahead of further increases to 67 and subsequently 68. A new report into the ageing population and retirement age has now asked if the age 70 is “the new age 65”.
