It is not often that one man or woman can be said to have changed the world. But Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the man who invented the World Wide Web, has certainly done that. The web is now so integral a part of our daily lives that it is difficult for those of us of a certain age to explain to younger people what life was like before it existed.
