The pound US dollar exchange rate is steady today and is currently trading around $1.290. The pound steadied against the US dollar today after bullish comments from Fed Chairman, Jerome Powell, last night, who said: “Today, data at the national level show a strong economy… Unemployment is near a half-century low, and economic output is growing at a solid pace.”
