Thatcher would have handbagged all our opponents, says ANDREW ALLISON



NOT MANY people can say that they have had a word inserted into the dictionary in their honour but the term "handbagging" became so popular in the 1980s that the Oxford English Dictionary had no option but to include it. It, of course, referred to Margaret Thatcher's style of diplomacy.
