The pound US dollar exchange rate dipped by -0.3 percent today, with the pairing currently trading around $1.308 after the UK year-on-year inflation figure held at a three-year low of 1.5 percent in November. The report also showed that UK inflation continues to undercut the Bank of England’s target of 2 percent by a wide margin.
