The pound was left flat against the euro today as Brexit pessimism increased and left markets fearing a hard Brexit next year, leaving the pairing trading at around €1.176. Sterling suffered further losses on Wednesday as traders continued to assess the risk of a disorderly Brexit at the end of 2020.
