The pound edged up against the euro this afternoon as the EU granted the UK another three-month Brexit delay, leaving the pairing trading at around €1.160. Sterling edged up against the single currency after European Council President Donald Tusk announced, just days before the October Brexit deadline, that the EU27 had agreed to grant the UK a three-month “flextension”.
