Only a fool would predict the eventual fate of Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal. at the end of last week it seemed odds-on that the Prime Minister had secured enough votes – just – to have MPs pass his new Brexit deal. There were Labour MPs prepared to put the country first and vote for the deal, just as the hardline European Research Group was falling in behind it. even without the DUP, it seemed set to pass.
