THE TURKEY lira fell by more than 3 percent against the US dollar today ahead of President Tayyip Erdogan claiming there were strong signs the killing of prominent Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was planned. The Turkish currency was trading at 5.8475 to the US dollar just before 10:00 BST.
