If you need an argument for stronger regulations on drones, here it is.
Two different commercial airliners came within 100 feet of unmanned air vehicles (UAV) when landing at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport on Friday, according to CNN. The two flights, Jet Blue 1843 and Delta 407, both landed safely, without the need for any evasive action. CNN also reports a third pilot spotted a drone near JFK on Sunday night.
The pilot of Jet Blue 1843 spotted a drone that flew just below the nose of the aircraft at 2:24 p.m. ET, while Delta 407 experienced its near collision at around 5 p.m. ET. Read more...
