FURLOUGH payments will continue to be utilised this year as Rishi Sunak recently confirmed the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme would be extended into April. While many have welcomed the extension in light of continued economic damage, others have warned the longer the scheme goes on, the worse the eventual outcome will be for employees.
