Universal Credit: DWP demanded to address rule suspension as deadline ‘rapidly’ approaches



UNIVERSAL Credit can provide support to employees, the unemployed and the self-employed alike but there are different assessment rules for those who work for themselves. Minimum income floor rules dictate how high payments can be and while the Department for Work and Pensions adapted the rules for this in response to coronavirus, the Work and Pensions Committee have recently called for additional change and revisions.
