UNIVERSAL CREDIT claims have surged this year due to the COVID-19 outbreak, with more than three million more people now claiming the payment. Following new statistics being published by HM revenue and Customs today, claimants are being urged to look into whether they can open a savings account offering an "unbeatable" rate.
