For a conflict that claimed the lives of perhaps as many as five-million souls, the Korean War throughout history has been referred to as the ‘forgotten war'. And yet, as we look back at this tragedy that started seventy years ago this week, the impact of three brutal years of fighting that resulted in no change in the geopolitical order of Asia-with North Korea and Communist China still standing-is still felt to this very day.
