YOU wouldn't necessarily link London Tube drivers with BBC senior managers. But when it comes to sheer brass neck, they're as bad as each other. Last weekend it was revealed that some BBC bosses have received 30 percent pay rises – yes, you read that right – at the very same time as the corporation is considering re-imposing the licence fee on over-75s as a way of cutting costs.
