A MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT has slammed the Department of Work and Pensions over the "hardship and distress" caused by delays to state pension payment for women born in the 1950s. Patricia Gibson MP voiced her support for the Women Against State Pension Inequality campaign which was founded in 2015 to address the impact felt by women of this generation following changes to the state pension age.
