'I was disappointed, but not surprised' - 'hidden army' of carers condemn Social Care Levy



BORIS JOHNSON recently laid out plans for a Health and Social Care Levy which is designed to raise funds for the NHS and the caring industry. The Government is set to inject £36billion into the NHS over the coming years which will be funded through National Insurance and tax increases. However, warnings have been issued on how these efforts completely exclude the UK's millions of unpaid carers.
