MANY Britons travel abroad each year with dreams of settling down and taking it easy in the sun to enjoy their later years. However, Joe Saffont Ruiz, 70, and his wife Jan did the opposite, explaining they ‘came out here for the Spanish dream and ended up working harder than we ever did before'. Viewers of Bargain-Loving Brits in the Sun saw the couple make more than £1,000 to help fund their friend's dog shelter and pay for vet bills.
