UK WORKERS are not saving enough money for their retirement as their workplace pensions are insufficient, according to a retirement expert, who says pensions are being underfunded due to the basic contributions being too low. The auto enrolment scheme is not providing employees with adequate pension contributions to be able to enjoy their retirement, which could leave retirees short handed when they come to stop working.
