IT is horrific to lose a child in any circumstances. But imagine the torment of losing a child while you are pregnant – and knowing that it could have been avoided. If you are pregnant and refuse to have the flu vaccine, that is the gamble you are taking. This week it emerged that the number of pregnant women being immunised is falling – as is the number of people over 65 receiving the vaccine.
