WHEN is someone finally going to tackle the massive problem which is the housing crisis in this country? News that record numbers of young adults are unable to leave the parental home is dismaying on every level: it is an impediment to social mobility, it does not allow them to develop an independent existence and in many cases it will stop them settling down with a spouse and having a family of their own.
