Australia's foreign minister has apparently been busted saying the word "bitch" to the deputy leader of the opposition.
A video taken during Question Time in Parliament on Tuesday shows Julie Bishop mouthing something that looks suspiciously like the derogatory term. She could of course just be saying "witch" or "rich."
The incident occurred during a debate surrounding the country's response to the Syrian refugee situation — in which the deputy opposition leader, Tanya Plibersek, continuously interrupted Prime Minister Tony Abbott. Abbott was trying to make a point that the government has provided a significant amount of aid to the Middle East, while Plibersek interjected, claiming it was not enough assistance. Read more...
