Finally, the wait is over: Dr. Dre has a new album. While fans have been waiting for the legendary rapper to release the long-rumored Detox for years, the new album is Compton: A Soundtrack By Dr. Dre, which Dre says was inspired by the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton. It's Dre's first album since his 1999 album, 2001.
Dre made the announcement on Saturday during his Beats 1 show, "The Pharmacy," saying, "It's an 'inspired by' album, it's inspired by Straight Outta Compton."
