IT problems halted TSB mortgages: Tech backlog said to prevent new loans at bank for month



TSB’s IT nightmare actually started a month before its ill-fated switching of customer accounts, when it moved mortgage brokers and their clients onto a new system. In early March, TSB launched its “Mortgage Pro” system, which was supposed to streamline and simplify the mortgage application process for intermediaries.
