HOORAY for Tesco, which is going to ditch the "best before" date on its fruit and veg in an effort to reduce the amount of usable food that gets thrown away. At last - no naggy, official voice insinuating that if we eat that apple or banana one day late it's not going to be responsible for the consequences.
