Universal Credit: DWP confirms minimum income floor suspension will be extended into 2021



UNIVERSAL CREDIT payments for self-employed claimants are usually impacted by what is known as the minimum income floor . To ease the application process, the DWP temporarily halted the use of the MIF in a bid to allow more people to gain access to support. Today, Thérèse Coffey, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, has confirmed the pause will be extended.
