Housing Benefit UK: ‘No DSS’ ban ruled unlawful in Court – renting precedent to be set



HOUSING Benefit discrimination made the headlines in July as a district judge ruled that "no DSS" rental bans go against equality laws, with the judge in question siding with a single mother who was told she could not rent a property due to the fact that she was receiving the benefit. The judgement was deemed momentous and today it has been revealed that a disabled claimant has once again won a legal trial against this kind of discrimination.
