ACCOUNTANCY giant KPMG will be investigated by the watchdog over its auditing of collapsed construction and services group Carillion. The Financial Reporting Council’s probe will cover KPMG’s auditing of the company’s financial statements over three years to December 2016, as well as additional work during 2017.
