LG teases its dual-display smartphone ahead of October 1st event

LG has released a teaser video for its upcoming event in New York on October 1st, revealing, very briefly, what appears to be its rumored dual-display smartphone. However, "dual-display" here doesn't mean a screen on the front and back of the device (like, say, the Yotaphone 2). Instead, LG's approach appears to be incorporating a small, secondary "ticker" display next to the phone's front-facing camera. We got our first glimpse of this arrangement with information filed by LG with Chinese regulator TENAA, but this teaser appears to confirm the unusual design.
