Destiny: The Taken King brings Bungie's 2014 hit into a new phase of its life on Sept. 15, and publisher Activision released two bizarre live-action trailers this week to ratchet up the hype.
To each their own, of course — but it's hard to look at these trailers side by side and not point to Japan's as the superior one. I mean, it's got a guy screaming into a washing machine.
The one released in North America mirrors a similar tease that dropped last year, just before Destiny first launched. The dialogue this time around is quite a bit lamer, but it's always fun to see your favorite Guardians leaping around while they shoot aliens in the face with improbably large hand cannons.
