2 British tourists killed after train derails in northern India, police say

Two British tourists have been killed and a dozen people are injured after a chartered train derailed in northern India, police say.

The train line from Kalka to Shimla is called "the toy train" and it winds through the Himalayan foothills. The railway is on UNESCO's World Heritage list. Shimla is a popular destination for British holidaymakers

The cause of the incident wasn't immediately clear, said Dinesh Kumar, divisional railway manager of Northern Railways, the BBC reported. The train is thought to have come off the rails near Kalka
