The Sony-branded VTOL, made by Aerosense, looks like a cross between a tiny consumer-grade quadcopter and a high-end military drone. Sony’s drone is noisy, and not that fast, but when you see it hover, turn in place, take off and land, you’ll probably want one
Long story short, this is the drone you’d probably rather play with instead of those relatively clunky quadcopters found at Barnes & Noble. Unfortunately, Sony has no plans to sell them at the moment — at least not for retail customers. Read more...
