GOVERNMENT proposals to scrap free NHS prescriptions for the over 60s in England have caused outrage and the surrounding publicity means many wrongly believe the decision has already been made. Campaigners say the over 60s do NOT have to pay at the moment - and they are fighting to keep it that way.
