Universal Credit: Rishi Sunak urged to extend uplift - claimants set to be £147 worse off



UNIVERSAL Credit has been a crucial lifeline for many in 2020 as coronavirus continued to wreak havoc on the economy. In March, Rishi Sunak boosted Universal Credit payments by around £20 a week to keep families afloat and this uplift has proven both essential and controversial.
