NO government ever went far wrong in promising extra resources for the NHS. Supporting our national healthcare system is an almost universal vote-winner. That is why it will come as no surprise at all if over the next few days or weeks Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt announces an extra injection of cash to mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS in July.
