READING in Wednesday’s paper an account of Diane Abbott apparently getting in a bit of a tangle over the difference between £300,000 and £300million, then turning a few pages and seeing that Monsieur Juncker has been talking about a charge of £50billion as a fee for Brexit, then seeing on the back page something about a footballer being worth £30million, I thought it was high time we sorted out these large numbers, so I picked up the phone and gave Diane Abbott a ring.
