LONDON — A batch of unheard David Bowie songs recorded during the sessions for his final album, Blackstar, could be released later this year.
Five songs were laid onto tape, according to the L.A. Times, and could make part of a deluxe edition in months to come.
"There are five more songs from these sessions that have yet to be released," critic Sasha Frere-Jones wrote in an article published before the singer's death. "So look forward to next Christmas and hope for a deluxe edition."
David Bowie's albums and singles have stormed the UK charts following the singer's death at age 69. "Heroes," which incidentally only reached Number 24 when it was originally released, is on course to break the Top Ten this week. Read more...
