Imagine driving through the desert for eight hours in a bus with a misaligned tire that causes it to constantly pull right. You earn a point for each completed trip, but you lose all your points if you crash.
That's Desert Bus, an infamously awful video game that, over the past nine years, has raised $3.1 million for the Child's Play charity. And now it's coming to virtual reality.

Penn & Teller's Penn Jillette, one of the original game's co-creators, shared the news during a recent episode of his Penn's Sunday School podcast.
"I'm working with [Gearbox Software co-founder] Randy Pitchford, and ... we're going to do a new Desert Bus and it's going to be just for charities, so charities can use it to raise money," he said. Read more...
